St. Mary's Sheriff's Report for December 31, 2004


On 123104 at approximately 1206 hours DFC Emory Johnson and Deputy Jay Kirkner responded to Baptist Church Road of a reported assault. The investigation revealed that Paul Virts claimed that he was assaulted by his girlfriend Christina Figgins. She was subsequently arrested and charged with second degree assault.

On 123104 DFC Michael Peacher, DFC Stephen Myers, and DFC Patrick Handy responded to Columbus Drive for a reported assault. The investigation revealed that Stacey Reintzell and Jason Reintzell were involved in an altercation at her residence. During the initial altercation Jason struck Stacey and attempted to leave. Stacey Reintzell then went to the kitchen and obtained knife and threatened Jason. Stacey then chased him into the bathroom and tried to stab him. He then ran from the residence being chased by Stacey threatening him with the knife and throwing glass objects at him. She then began threatening to kill him and threw a knife at him. DFC Peacher subsequently arrested and charged Stacey Reintzell with First degree Assault. She was incarcerated pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
