Theft

On December 2nd, 2004 at 7:50 pm, Dfc Naecker contacted the owner of SDG Construction. He told Dfc Naecker that an unknown person(s) removed several pieces of construction equipment from a job site located in the 3800 block of 3rd, Street, North Beach, Md.
Investigation is on going.

CDS Violation

On December 5th, 2004 at 3:44 pm, Dfc Parsons conducted a traffic stop on Md Rt 4 and the southern entrance to St. Leonard Rd. St. Leonard, Md. Dfc Parsons contacted the driver and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person. Based on tests given and observations made during the stop, Billie Jo Denton, 40 years of age of Prince Frederick, Md. was placed under arrest for DUI. A search incident to arrest revealed a wooden smoking device containing suspected marijuana, a piece of suspected crack cocaine, and a plastic bag containing suspected marijuana. She was charged with Possession of CDS and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. She was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

CDS Violation

On December 5th, 2004 at 5:00 pm, Cpl. Moschetto was working Mountain Bike Patrol in the Fox Run Shopping Center. He observed a red Chevrolet Truck parked in front of the K-Mart Store it was occupied by 3 males. The three males sat in the vehicle for over 7 minutes without patronizing any of the businesses. Cpl, Moschetto approached the vehicle and detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed a plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana and a homemade smoking device. Christopher D. Lipp, 20 years old of Chesapeake Beach, Md. and a juvenile were arrested and charged with possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. Lipp was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing and the juvenile was released to a relative.
