Calvert County Crime Solvers Seeks Your Help


The Calvert County Sheriff is seeking the assistance of citizens in solving the following outstanding cases.

Case 1 - BURGLARY

The Calvert Investigative Team is investigating a Burglary that occurred on July 30th, 2004 at approximately 9:30 am. The burglary was of a residence in the 3900 block of Chaneyville Rd., Owings, Md. Suspect(s) entered the home and removed property from inside.

Case 2 - BUGLARY

The Calvert Investigative Team is investigating a burglary that occurred at a residence in the 2400 block of Lower Marlboro Rd., Huntingtown, Md. The burglary happened during the daylight hours of July 30th, 2004. The suspect(s) entered the home and removed property from inside.

Case 1 and 2 may be related, witnesses have reported seeing a small blue or black vehicle in the area of the burglaries.

Case 3 - ROBBERY

The Calvert Investigative Team is investigating a robbery that occurred on August 7th, 2004 at 8:24 pm. The robbery occurred in the Safeway parking lot in Dunkirk, Md. A white male approached the victim and grabbed her purse. The victim lost her balance and fell to the ground. The suspect was able to take her purse and fled the parking lot in a mid size SUV. The victim and witnesses described the suspect as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall with short brownish red hair. The SUV driver was described as a white female in her twenties with dark brown hair. The SUV left the parking lot and headed south on Md. Rt. 4.
