Naval Air Systems Command Patuxent River Awards Contracts


Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $25,479,137 firm-fixed priced order against a Basic Ordering Agreement for two E-2 upgrade kits for the Government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Upgrade kits include mission computer upgrade, advanced control indicator set, and navigation upgrades. Work will be performed in St. Augustine, Fla. (35 percent); Bethpage, N.Y. (20 percent); Rolling Meadows, Ill. (20 percent); Woodland Hills, Calif. (15 percent); and Melbourne, Fla. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity (N00019-04-G-0001).

American Electronic Warfare Associates*, California, Md., is being awarded a $17,365,609 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee/level of effort contract (N00421-03-C-0078) to exercise an option for engineering services for the Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Stimulation Division. The total level of effort for this option period is 174,000 man-hours. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed in July 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
