St. Mary's County Waives Fees for Storm Debris at Landfill

To assist citizens with clean-up efforts associated with the storms on Wednesday, July 14, 2004, St. Mary’s County will be accepting Yard Waste (vegetative debris) such as logs, limbs, branches, brush and leaves at the St. Andrews Landfill at no charge through Saturday, July 24, 2004. All other acceptable materials will require the normal landfill tipping fees of $10.00 per ¼ ton pickup truck load and $52 per ton for oversized loads. The Landfill’s normal business hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm.
