St. Mary's County Police Report for July 05, 2004


DWI Arrest: 7-3-04 Deputy Harold D. Young arrested Dewayne Maurice Cutchember, age 21, Lexington Park, Maryland, for Driving While Impaired by Alcohol and for Driving on a Suspended License. Mr. Cutchember was stopped on Rt. 4 in the California area for a traffic violation and the other listed violations were detected. Mr. Cutchember was transported to the St. Marys County Sheriffs Office where he charged with the traffic violations.

DWI Arrest: 7-3-04 Dfc David Yingling arrested Terrcell Ernest Thompson, age 24, Lexington Park, Maryland for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and for Driving on a Revoked License. Mr. Thompson was discovered driving his vehicle on Great Mills Road in Great Mills, Maryland. Mr. Thompson was transported to the St. Marys County Detention Center pending a bond review.

Reckless Endangerment: On 7-4-04 Dfc Julie Yingling arrested Francis Wayne Bridget, age 40, Mechanicsville, Maryland and charged him with Reckless Endangerment and Possession of Marihuana. Investigation revealed that Mr. Bridgett was outside a residence in Mechancisville firing a rifle in the air while there was numerous occupants in and around the residence. Officers located Mr. Bridget at a nearby residence and he was arrested without incident. Search incident to his arrest revealed a small amount of marihuana in his possession. Mr. Bridget was transported to the St. Marys County Detention Center where he was held pending a $5000.00 bond.

Arrest Warrant: On 7-4-04 Deputy Harold D. Young arrested Robert Mark Felitsky Jr, Age 36, California, Maryland, for an outstanding Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear for court. Mr. Felitsky was transported to the St. Marys County Detention Center pending a bond review.

Arrest Warrant: On 7-5-04 Deputy Harold D Young arrested Robert Scott McLellan, Age 19, no fixed address, for an outstanding warrant for Bad Check. Mr. McLellon was transported to the St. Marys County Detention Center pending a bond review.

Trespass: On 7/4/04 Dfc. Stephen E. Myers arrested Lisa M. Esparza, Age 31, St. Mary's City, Maryland and charged her with Trespassing at the A&E Motel, Lexington Park, Maryland. Investigation revealed Ms. Esparza was in a motel room after being notified by the owner not to enter upon the property on 7/2/04. Ms. Esparza was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

Burglary: On 7/4/04 Deputy J. Kirkner responded to the reported Burglary at Captain Pat's Seafood, Lexington Park, Maryland. Investigation revealed unknown culprit(s) broke a lock on an outdoor refrigerator unit and removed 5 bushels of crabs valued at $700.00.

Counterfeit Currency/Theft: On 7/4/04 Dfc. S. Clark arrested a 15 year old Juvenile at the Target Department Store, California, Maryland and charged him with Possession of Counterfeit United States Currency and Theft Under $500.00. Investigation revealed the juvenile entered the Target and attempted to purchase a cassette disc, valued at $14.69 with a counterfeit $20 bill. Upon the clerk questioning the currency, the juvenile exited the store and changed clothes in an attempt to disguise his identity. Store security personnel located and detained the juvenile until the arrival of Dfc. Clark. The juvenile was released to his parent pending action by juvenile authorities.
