More Details:
The Patuxent River Graduate Center has been serving the Southern Maryland area since 1972. We are located on the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland. Florida Tech offers graduate programs designed to meet the needs of local professionals, military service members, and contractors supporting the Naval Air Station. Currently, we have over 300 students working toward their master's degrees, and over 800 graduates to date.

The Patuxent Graduate Center offers 11-degree programs specializing in the Business/Management, Computer Science, and Engineering fields. All programs are designed to allow working professionals an opportunity to maintain professional and technical competence, while earning a graduate degree, without career interruption.

Students may choose between the Traditional classroom format (where class size is limited), and the Distance Learning format. Both formats are designed to accommodate the full time, working professional. Traditional courses meet one evening per week, from 5pm - 8pm. Distance Learning courses are an internet based learning format, whereby courses are taught in a "virtual classroom" setting. All communication between the instructor and the students is communicated via email, chat sessions and homework/notes posted in the virtual classroom. In either format, programs may be completed in two years (or less), or at the student's own pace.

Our staff is available Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to answer any questions you may have regarding your graduate education, transfer credits, or otherwise.

The Patuxent Graduate Center of Florida Tech is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
