Requirements for Having your Music CD listed in the somd.com Music Store

What Does It Cost?

We believe in giving the struggling musician a break.  Inclusion in our Music Store is based on CD-Ware.  It will not cost you any money, but it will cost you a few copies of the CD you are advertising.  Here's how it works:

1. If your CD is available for sale on amazon.com, just give us the amazon.com ASIN number that corresponds to your product and three (3) new copies of the same CD.

2. If your CD is not for sale on amazon.com, but can be purchased locally, through your website or via mail order, your cost for inclusion in our Music Store is ten (10) new copies of the same CD.

3. If your CD is available on amazon, and it is also available through other means such as your website or mail order, your cost for inclusion in our Music Store is eight (8) new copies of the same CD.

Note: One way that we might use your CD-Ware payment is to give one or more away in one of our many reader giveaways.

What you have to do to Submit your CDs

1. Complete the application form and tell us about yourself and your CDs.

2. After we review your application, we'll let you know if everything is good to go.

3. We will need the following information for each CD to be listed:

1. A JPEG image of the cover
2. A description of the CD (the Ad Copy)
3. Detailed information about how the CD can be purchased

4. Once we receive all of this information, we will tell you where to ship your CD-Ware payment.  Once we receive the CDs in good condition, your listing will be come active on somd.com.

Terms & Conditions

1. We reserve the right to refuse to list any CD based on our discretion.

2. Once we agree to list your CD, we will keep it listed for a period of at least one calendar year.  After that date, we reserve the right to list or not list any CD at our discretion.

3. Once we list a CD and you have had the opportunity to proof the listing for errors and omissions, we are under no obligation to change images or ad copy.  We will however act in a reasonable manner to make important changes to ad copy such as an ordering telephone number or address change.
