"Art in the Park Fun-Run" will traverse the beautiful natural surroundings of Smallwood State Park which is situated on the Mattawoman Creek. The walk/run is open to all ages, strollers are permitted but no pets please. The course is on mainly paved surfaces and will include a footbridge that crosses to wetlands. There is no chip timing with this race. 100% of the race profits go to support the Mattawoman Creek Art Center(501C3 non-profit) and the many community programs they offer. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the Autumn weather, explore nature, and appreciate beautiful works of art in the gallery.
