Summer is the time for fun and adventure. HSMC offers a great outdoor environment for creative learning. Join us for our summer workshops; designed for kids with curious minds, who want to learn a new skill.
Have you ever wondered what materials artists used in the 17th century to make paint and ink? This workshop brings history and art together by introducing the historical methods and materials used by some of the early painters of long-ago. Participants will have the opportunity to make pigments by exploring a range of natural materials from plants, minerals, and insects, to create an art piece and an artist’s palette to take home.
$25 / Members $15
