Everyone has experienced grief in some way. It can be very difficult to go through, especially on your own. Our grief support group, led by Mechanicsville-based grief counselor Melinda Ruppert, LCPC, is a great place to connect with a network of people who are experiencing similar struggles. As her website explains… “Melinda works with individuals, couples, and families, around aspects of grief and transition. Her approach is one of companioning, walking alongside someone experiencing grief; not treating them like they have a disorder that needs to be resolved or fixed”.
