Centering the Margins is a one-day summit for/by LGBTQ BIPOC humanists, atheists and nonbelievers in DC on Saturday, March 30. The event will bring together activists, organizers, and writers for a day of collaboration and learning that is much needed within the nonreligious movement. Sessions will address effective organizing, racial justice, LGBTQ mental health advocacy, Queer Latinidad, the power of our stories, and more. Speakers include the co-founder of Black Lives Matter Houston and chairs of the national Latinx and LGBTQ Humanist Alliance, among other nationally recognized names.
