Join the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Chesapeake (UUCC) this Earth Day in welcoming visiting Reverend Mark Hoelter:

“'When God is Gone, Everything Is Holy' (Chet Raymo)
I have done more than my share of God sermons. This is not one of those; no God in this one. I might have made my title, “Nature Is Enough” (and so she is) or “Taking Nature to Heart” (and so we can). For one can contemplate the 13.8 billion-year history of the universe, or nature herself on this planet (including us), the same way some have contemplated God; can fling oneself with abandon into that great mystery; can even derive from those contemplations an ethic of justice and compassion. It is time to move from Earth Day to Earth Era."

The UUCC meets two Sundays a month at 10:30 am at the Yardley Hills Community Center, 700 Yardley Drive, Prince Frederick MD. Please visit our website: www.TheUUCC.org or call: (443) 646-3518 for information. All are welcome!
