This free workshop is for anyone who would like to know more about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The warning signs of Alzheimer’s often are dismissed as side effects of normal aging. Early detection provides a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies and plan for the future. Topics covered will include:

• How to tell the difference between Alzheimer’s and typical aging
• Steps to take if you recognize a warning sign in yourself or someone you know
• The process to receiving an Alzheimer’s diagnosis
• Why early detection is crucial
