ReOpen St. Mary’s, jointly with Return2Learn, will be conducting two home school forums for parents considering home schooling, either in conjunction with, or separate from, private or public school online or in person classes. These forums will be held on Monday, August 10 and Friday, August 14 at 6:30 pm at Callaway Baptist Church, 20960 Point Lookout Road, Callaway, MD 20650.

“I hope to reach parents who are considering homeschooling for the first time,” said Cindy Jones, one of the event’s organizers. “I have homeschooled for over six years and remember having questions and not knowing where to go for the answers. It was very beneficial to have other homeschoolers to talk to about my concerns.”

ReOpen St. Mary’s is a local group formed in response to COVID-19 governmental overreach.

Return2Learn is a community-based non-partisan group focused on equitable, practical, evidence-based student friendly policies for reopening Maryland schools.
