Lucy Ann Wise, 52 of Lexington Park, MD passed away peacefully on July 3, 2021 at home.

She was born on January 14, 1969 in Lemoore, CA to the late James Neugent III and Lucia Neugent of Lexington Park, MD.

Lucy graduated from Great Mills. She earned her Associate Degree in Business from Saint Leo University. She was employed by NAVAIR as a Cost Analyst for the last ten years. Before working for the government she was employed by Booz Allen Hamilton. Over the years of her career she earned many achievements and many long lasting professional and personal relationships. She knew how to live life to the fullest; she loved doing everything with her girls, especially their family trips to Punta Cana and Spain, or just staying local in St. Mary's County, boating on the river, gardening, and sunning on the beach. She was also an excellent cook, her specialties were Italian sausage, steak, and pasta dishes. She loved the holidays and everything that came along with them- spending time with family, cooking meals, decorating, and socializing. She was known for being a socialite and was the life of every party. Anyone that was lucky enough to meet Lucy was captivated by her outgoing, vibrant, and incredibly caring personality. She will truly be missed by her friends and family.

She is survived by her daughters, Erika and Nicole Wise of Lexington Park; brothers, James Neugent IV (Julie) of California, MD and Michael Neugent of Lexington Park, MD; nephew, Steven Neugent of Lexington Park, MD; niece, Rachel Neugent of Hollywood, MD, and her significant other, Kris Bell of Lexington Park, MD.

Family will receive friends for Lucy's Life Celebration on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service officiated by Reverend Joe Orlando at 7:00 p.m., at Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Interment is private.

Gary Lee Taylor, 75 of Great Mills, MD passed away on July 6, 2021 at home with his family around him.

He was born on March 24, 1946 in West Virginia to the late James H. Taylor and Betty Jean (Smith) Taylor.

Gary was in the Air Force from 1965 to 1969 where he specialized in electrical and mechanical engineering. He continued in this vocation for several decades as a civilian travelling all around the world.

He is survived by his two children, Greg Taylor and his wife Karen Ross Taylor, Gennifer Taylor Morgereth and her fiance John Toich; and his two granddaughters Jamie and Julia Morgereth- all from Baltimore, MD; and his sister Cecelia St. Don, niece Tammy Hall, nephew Jim Seidenstricker , and niece Vicki Pilkerton all from St Mary's County.

He is preceded in death by his parents, ex-wife Judith DeHart Taylor and daughter Gina Taylor.

Paula Ann Springer of California, MD passed away on July 7, 2021, at home under the care of her loving family and Hospice of St. Mary's.

Paula was born October 23, 1938 in Baraboo, Wisconsin, daughter of Gordon and Paula (Griggs) Weiske. She graduated from Baraboo High School, and joined the US Air Force and served at Charleston AFB, SC, where she met and married William Joseph Geidner, and together they had four daughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Laurene Tilton, and brothers John and Thomas Weiske.

She is survived by her beloved husband Judson Springer, devoted daughters; Teresa Clark (Matt), Pamela Yount (Kenneth) and Melanie Valdez (Fred) and their children (Jamie, Stephanie. Alan, Nicholas, Allison, Olivia and John), along with stepchildren Judson Springer (Melissa) and Robert Springer (Becky) and their children (Maggie, Grant, James, Jessica, Joshua and Joseph), sister Teri Finnegan (James), and son-in-law Russell Tilton. She had great pride and joy in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She found love again and married Jud Springer in 1992, and they built a beautiful, loving life together. They shared many loves including the beach, boating, fishing, gardening, attending live music concerts, vacationing, and spending time with friends, neighbors and family.

Paula had a successful career with both Andrews Federal Credit Union and Pentagon Federal Credit Union.

Paula was a warm, loving and generous child of God. She formed and nurtured many deep friendships throughout her life. She had a special way of connecting with both people and canines. Her legacy will live on through her husband, children, family, and friends. She will be forever missed and loved.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church 1601 West Mount Harmony Road, Owings, MD 20736 on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

Kelly Marie Cusic born in Dallas Texas July 26, 1978 to Gerald Wayne Couch and Janis Dianne Couch. She passed away on July 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Wayne Couch and brother Craig Dale Couch and her daughter Brooklyn Marie Cusic.

She was married to James Kenneth Cusic on April 8, 2000 and spent all those married years in Southern Maryland.
She is survived by her husband James Kenneth Cusic, children, Angelica Marie (Cusic) Mabry and husband Nick Mabry, Destiny Marie Cusic, and Megan Marie Cusic, and mother Janis Dianne Couch, her brothers, Kyle Wayne Couch and his wife Ariel and their two children, and her half brother Brett Wayne Couch.

3 aunts, Kay Harkins and her husband Jack and their two children, Susan Hendrix and her husband Kurt and their two children, Rita Wilharm and her daughter, her uncle Martin Benshoof
and his daughter and other extended family.

She loved all things water, skiing, boating, dolphins and loved to travel like her Dad. She was devoted to her children, documenting and encouraging their interests and successes and consoling them when they were troubled.

She was the keeper of family history dating back to oldest records and treasured their memories. When she made friends they were for a lifetime. Her oldest friend from high school, Angie Hermann, was like a sister to her as well as the rest of the family.

Kelly loved people and had a soft spot for neglected children and animals which she has passed on to all her children. Her mother describes her as strongly determined, protective with a tender compassionate heart.

Kelly will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will follow with Arthur Pilkerton officiating. Interment will be private.
