Carlton Tony Wimmer, age 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in Prince Frederick, Maryland.

He is the beloved husband of 74 years of the late Estelle Wimmer and loving father of Toni Cornwell and the late Roger Alan Wimmer. He is also survived by his grandson Donald Cornwell, Jr. and his wife Camilla, two great grandchildren, Steffen and Maia Cornwell. Tony is the brother of Irene Willis of Chesapeake, Virginia and the late Cecil Wimmer, Windel Wimmer, Ruby Helms and Christine Willis.

Mr. Wimmer served in the US Army in WWII and Korea. After retiring in 1977 as a warehouseman for a trucking firm, he moved to Roanoke, Virginia to operate a lawn mower repair facility. He always enjoyed his work, working on his automobiles and for fun you could find him on the water skiing.
