Mary Agnes Pilkerton, 82, of California, MD formerly from Landover Hills, MD passed away on August 13, 2014 from complication of Alzheimer's disease at Washington Hospital Center Washington, DC. She was the daughter of the late Helen Agnes McDonald Regeon and Albert E. Regeon.

Mary was the loving wife of the late James Richard Pilkerton, Sr. whom she married on December, 1799 in St. Mary's County, MD, and who preceded her in death on November 1, 2002.

Mary is survived by her children; Patricia Ann McKinley (John) of Hyattsville, MD, William F. Howes, Jr. (Brenda) of Williamsburg, VA, 5 grandchildren; Katie McKinley Norris (Rob), Jay McKinley (Rachel), William F. Howes Hoover (Doug) and Jacqueline, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Siblings; Margaret Butler (Morris) of Lusby, MD, and Albert "Al: Regeon, Jr., of Jacksonville, FL.

She was preceded in death by her James C. Regeon.

Mary graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1950, and attended Strayer College. She worked as a work-order processor for C & P / Verizon for 12 years retiring in 1990.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 Pm and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM in St. John's Catholic Church Hollywood, MD with Father Ray Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery Morganza, MD.
