Edward A. Tomasko Sr. of Waldorf, MD passed away on July 17, 2014. Born on September 26, 1929 in Stratford, CT he was 84 years old.

He retired as a Tech Sgt. from the U.S. Air Force and his second career with the U.S. Capitol Police. He was very active in the Waldorf Little League and many other youth sports where he volunteered and coached. He loved fishing and was devoted to his Catholic faith, family, and country. An avid Boston Red Sox and Washington Redskins fan, he never missed a game.

He was the son of William and Anna Tomasko of Stratford, CT; beloved husband of 62 years to Mary Ann Tomasko; loving father of Donna M. Erwin, Edward A. Tomasko Jr., Joann Schnaubelt, and Jason E. Tomasko. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a great-grandson is on the way.

Visitation on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 10AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church, 3320 St. Peter's Drive, Waldorf, MD 20601. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church.
