Buck passed away peacefully on July 15, 2014.

Beloved husband of Dorothy Eleanor (Dade) Baker, son of the late James Temprey and Eleanor (Butler) Baker, father of Gregory, Lana, Annette Parks, Joyce, Joseph Jr., Julius Marvin, Larry, Deborah Thornhill, Anthony, Carla Denise, and Craig.

Preceded in death by beloved daughter Shirley Mae and grandson Julius Jamal. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Joseph David and John Bush. He also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at of Newport Catholic Church located at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Newport, 11555 St. Mary's Church Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622 where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM with the Reverend Mark Erwin officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
