Elwood S. Boswell died at home on June 26, 2014 in Nanjemoy, MD.

Over the preceding ninety-two years he grew up with brother Milton in Washington, DC, managed delivery of the Washington Daily News, served in the Air Force during WWII, earned a bachelor's degree, cultivated a career with the Department of Defense, and raised a family.

Woody drove with two feet, played the ponies, loved baseball and eyed the kitty with a wry smile. His generosity and trademark wit will not be forgotten.

He will be greatly missed by Anna Belle, his wife of sixty-one years, daughters Cindy and Carol, sister Jeanette, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and Baskin-Robbins stockholders.

A memorial service will be held July 7th from 4pm-5pm at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, La Plata, MD.
