Born February 27, 1956 in Washington, D.C., Beverly Ann Bridgett Williams was the daughter of Francis Eugene and Louella Lennis Bridgett. She is preceded in death by her father, Francis Eugene Bridgett. She is survived by her mother, Louella Lennis Bridgett; husband, David Lee Williams; daughter, Megan Bridgett Williams; step-daughters and husbands, Jenna and John Wall and Jaime and Tommy Abell; father and mother in-law LeRoy and Dolly Williams; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Rebecca Bridgett; brothers- in-law, Richard Williams, Paul Williams; sister-in-law, Cindy Russell; nephews - Lee Bridgett, Dylan Russell, Chris & Curtis Williams; nieces - Jennifer Bridgett Webster and husband Gavin, Jessica Bridgett, Jacqueline Bridgett, Lindsay & Caitlin Russell.

She was raised in Prince Georges County graduating from Crossland High School in 1974. She received her bachelor's degree from George Mason University in Virginia. She worked 33 years as a Legal Secretary. She began her career with Dewey Ballantine law firm and spent the last 8 years working for McKenna, Aldridge & Long.

She spent many summers and vacations visiting her grandparents and relatives that lived on farms in Charles County, MD. Shortly after she and David married, they moved to the farmhouse of her paternal grandparents. They enjoyed many renovations to Hilltop Farm on Kentucky Avenue near Dentsville which has been in the family since 1879.

Beverly was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Newport, MD and the Charles County Garden Club. She enjoyed horseback riding with her daughter Megan, antiquing with her husband, David as well as gardening with both her husband, David and step-daughter, Jenna.

The family will receive friends on Monday June 30, 2014 at the Trinity Church, Newport, MD from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM, where funeral services will be held Tuesday July 1, 2014 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church Newport or the La Plata United Methodist Church.
