Kenneth F. Adams, 68, of Nanjemoy, MD died on June 17, 2014 at his home. He was born on February 27, 1946 in Maryland to the late Benjamin and Veronica Adams. He is also predeceased by his wife Dorothy J. Adams.

He is survived by his son, Shane M. Adams; daughters, Shirley A. Jones and Stephanie V. Akers; Stepson's, Dickie Smith, Butch Helton, and Bill Helton; stepdaughter, Pam Tall; brother, Melvin Adams. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.

Kenneth was a wastewater operator for WASA. He was also was in the first class that went from 1st to 12th grade at the Archbishop Neale School. His hobbies included watching baseball especially the NATS, basketball, gardening and he loved his animals.

The family will receive friends on Friday June 20, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, MD where funeral services will be held on Saturday June 21, 2014 at 10 AM. Interment to follow in the St. Joseph's Church Cemetery, Pomfret, MD.
