Margaret Augusta Satchwell of White Plains, MD died on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Genesis La Plata Center in La Plata. She was 85 years old.

Born on June 28, 1928 in Aquasco, MD she was the daughter of the late Margaret Nina Rebecca Connick and the late Ernest Ambrose Jackson.

Mrs. Satchwell was a homemaker, mom, and grandma who enjoyed crocheting and doing ceramics. While her children were in school she volunteered at the school and served as a Health Aid. And she was of the Episcopal faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Satchwell and her brother Buzzy Jackson.

She is survived by her son Ernest L. Hall and his wife Kathleen J. Hall of Bel Alton, MD; her daughter Cindy Diane Beck and her husband Tom Beck of Thurmont, MD; her sister Hilda Rae Percosky and her husband Chester Percosky; and her 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 11AM until time of service at 5PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

She will be interred with her husband in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
