Paul Anthony Owens of Newburg, MD died on April 28, 2014 at his residence with Hospice. He was 53 years old. He was born in La Plata, MD. He is the son of Joseph Andrew Owens and Dorothy Ann Walls Owens.

Paul was an auto mechanic with Andrews Auto Parts for 10 plus years. He graduated from McDonough High School and was an avid NASCAR fan, especially Dale Sr. and Dale Jr. he liked making things with yarn and plastic.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Martha Owens; his step-sons, John T. Bowie, James Bowie, and Charles Bowie; his daughter, Crystal Adkins; his brothers, Alan and Joseph Owens; his brother-in-laws, Robert Richmond, James Richmond, Andy Burke, and Bob Beaver; his sister-in-laws, Anna Grinder, Patricia Richmond, Laura Gibson, and Jeannie Burke. He is also survived by close friends, Tammy Swope-Butler and Crystal Landman and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends received on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 5-8PM with Funeral Service at 6:30PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will be private.
