Mr. McCoy was a retired Medical Research Associate for Georgetown University. He was a veteran of both the Navy and the Army having served during both World War II and Korea. He was a member of the Cobb Island Baptist Church. Past Master Masonic Lodge #150, La Plata, Md., Past Commander of the DAV in White Plains, Md. He was a teaching assistant in medicine for Georgetown University Medical School. He was also a member of the VFW Post 10081, Bel Alton, Md. He was an associate member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine.

Son of the late Guy Everett McCoy and the late Mary Olive Perkins McCoy.

Predeceased by his parents, his wife, Carmen P. Mc Coy and daughter, Carolyn Anne McCoy.

Survived by his two daughters, Patricia Joan Tverberg of Minnesota, and Carmen Jean Kramer of Hammondsport, New York. Also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation on Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 5-8 pm with DAV and Masonic Services at 7:30 pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, Md.

Clergy will be Rev. Larry Chambers.

Interment at Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery, Emmitsburg, Md.
