Patty Lou Woodall of Waldorf, MD died on March 23, 2014 at the University of MD Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. She was 73 years old.

Patty was an administrative assistant with the Secretary of Agriculture in Washington, DC for over 30 years. She was a 1958 graduate of the University High School in Morgantown, WV. Her government service was from 1959 until she retired in 1995. She enjoyed going to the beach, family get-togethers, and gardening.

She is the daughter of the late Francis L. Smith and the late Vera l. Booth Smith. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William R. Woodall; two sons, William R. Woodall, Jr. and his wife Deborah and Charles G. Woodall; one daughter, Joyce L. Perry; and five grandchildren, Rod, Katie, Carley, Nicholas, and Gabrielle.

Friends received on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 1PM until time of Memorial Service at 3PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment at MD Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD at a later date.
