On Saturday, March 22, 2014, Regenia M. Hamlin, 91, of Chaptico, MD went home to be with the LORD.
Regenia was born April 4, 1922 in Catlett, Virginia the daughter of Margaret (Maggie) R. Pollard and Andrew W. Smith. She was the youngest of 11 children. She worked for 31 years for the Federal Government and retired in 1985. Regenia enjoyed fishing, sewing, and eating good food with family. She was happiest spending time with her beloved dogs, Princess and Rusty. She was a positive inspiration on the multitude of lives she mentored throughout her life. Regenia will be remembered dearly by her children: Debra Dent and Ernest Hamlin, her grandchildren: John Montague and Crystal Hamlin, and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and late husband, Ernest, she was preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers. Services and interment will be private.
