Judith Anne "Judy" Herndon of Port Tobacco, MD died on March 2, 2014 at the University of MD Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. She was 62 years old.

Judy was an insurance agent for 29 years, most recently working for Tom Grillo State Farm Agency in La Plata.

She loved collecting porcelain dolls, baking with granddaughters, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her husband, friends and family.

She is the daughter of the late James Edgar Frank and the late Sylvia Virginia Coppage Frank. She is survived by is survived by her husband of 42 years, William A. Herndon; three children, David Peterson and his wife Nicole, Kim Hammond and her husband Rodney, and Peanut Herndon and his wife Raechelle; and one sister, Lynda Self. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.

Friends received on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 5-8PM and where Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
