Willie Allen Jones was born to the late Lafayette and the late Gracie Jones on April 7, 1948 in Bolton, North Carolina. He made Waldorf, Maryland his home.

On Sunday, February 10, 2008, his earthly life ended for one eternal at the Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD.

Affectionately known to his grandchildren as "Pop Pop," Willie accepted his call to Ministry in 1985 and was an Assistant Pastor at Liberty Rock Baptist Church, Waldorf, MD. He loved working in the Church and was dedicated to the cause of Christ, being passionate about preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He especially had a heart for the youth.

He was extremely family oriented and a dedicated and committed husband to his wife of 28 years, Katrina. Next to his relationship with the Lord, he found great enjoyment in the company of his children and grandchildren. He was very proud of his family. Also, when time allowed, you could find him doing a little fishing and gardening.

Willie, by trade, was an Engineer and prior to his failing health he worked for Razaa Inc.

In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his brother, Lee Adam Jones and grandparents, Rev. Willie Allen and Betty Randall and John and Mammie Jones.

Left to cherish many memories are his wife, Katrina, children, Antonio Sr., Stephon, Tracey, and Shanetta, grandchildren, Shynika, Antonio, Jr., Jordan, and Deja, daughter-in-law, Renneaka Bobo, sisters, Wessie Warrick, Virginia Bratcher, Betty Loatman, Crystal Best and Mary Conyers, brothers, Jerry and Cleathus Jones, brothers-in-law, Terry Bratcher, Deacon Charles Warrick, Gordon Loatman, Joseph and Bobby Bobo, sisters-in-law, Theresa Jones, Sheila Yates, Linda and Diane Bobo and an especially dedicated sister-in-law, Gloria Chase, also dedicated to his care was his nephew, Quinton Bobo and nieces, Tonya and Tracey Bobo. Also surviving are a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and church family.

His viewing will take place on Friday, February 15th, 9:00a.m. until service time 11:00a.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church, 9107 Pineview Lane, Clinton, Maryland. Interment Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
