Kissinger, Franklin Edward
Birth: Friday, January 04, 1974
Death: Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the age of 40 |
Our Beloved, "Franklin Edward Kissinger," age 40, surrounded by his loving family, returned home to live with his Heavenly Father on January 21, 2014.
Since he was a little boy, even by taking the kitchen cabinets apart at his grand-parent's house, it was obvious he had a true gift. Franklin was amazing with his hands. He often told us he thought through his hands. Franklin loved to work on cars and built awesomely fast race cars. He was the kind of person that you could just describe to him what you wanted built or needed done, and he would build it for you or talk you through it. He was taught the plumbing trade by his father and in-turn, liked to pass on his knowledge to others. Franklin had an honest heartfelt love to help people. Being a Volunteer Fire Fighter at Company 2 in Prince Frederick was a very proud time of his life. He was very proud to be called Lieutenant Kissinger. He loved to keep journals of his thoughts and had a very unique, creative artistic talent. Through his many trials and tribulations, Franklin taught many others how to smile, love life, and forgive. He lived in the Big Picture we all seem to easily forget. He trusted God was in complete control and believed there was a reason for everything. "That God will always give you the strength to get through." He dearly loved the snow and it was a great sign from God and Franklin, that as he passed, his spirit was alive in the beauty of the pure white snow that embraced us. He was born into this world, January 4, 1974. He grew up in Charles County Maryland until his middle school days and then moved to Calvert County where he "hands-on" helped his family build their home in Huntingtown, MD. Franklin will be lovingly remembered by his mother Patricia Kay Weaver, his father George E. Kissinger, Grandmother Patricia Ann Weaver, his younger sister who thought the world of her big brother Alaina B. Kissinger, a son that looks just like him Conner Kissinger and a beautiful daughter that has his green eyes, Breanna Kay Kissinger. He is also loved and remembered by wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and nephew and an abundance of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, "Pop-Pop", Franklin Harris Weaver, and many close friends. A "Celebration of His Life" Service will be held in His Honor at 2 pm, Saturday, February 1, 2014, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 90 Church Street, Prince Frederick, MD 20678. |
