Aurora Zamora Liss, 85, of Mechanicsville, MD died on December 10, 2013 at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD. She was born on February 2, 1928 in Mexico to the late Eulogio Zamora de Gonzalez and the late Maria Orenday de Zamora.

Aurora was a homemaker, and her greatest interest was her family, cooking, especially Polish food for her husband. She had a great devotion to our Lady of Guadalupe.

Aurora is survived by her daughter, Tamara E. Hildebrand (late Paul), grandchildren, Paul Joseph Hildebrand, John Howard Hildebrand.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Liss.

Family will receive friends for Aurora's Life Celebration on Friday, December 13, 2013, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with prayers at 7:00 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 28297 Old Village Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659.
