Michael Joseph Young, 55 of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on December 3, 2013 at his residence in Mechanicsville, MD. He was born on August 4, 1958 in Takoma Park, MD to Milton V. Young and Frances W. Young.

Michael enjoyed riding Harley Davidson's with friends and family. He also enjoyed rebuilding motorcycles and listening to records. Michael loved attending family parties and entertaining guests with his keen sense of humor. Michael was employed for several years as a manager with Posner Industries and was recently employed with Atlantic Hardware.

Michael was predeceased by his son, Michael J. Young, Jr.

Michael is survived by his parents Milt and Fran, Brother Richard W. Young, Sr. and wife Kimberly, nieces Heather Young and Brittany Gray, nephew Richard W. Young Jr., grandchildren, Mia N. Young, Kyle L. Williams, and Chloe E. Williams and Daughter-in-law Amy Williams and husband Darrell Williams.
