Betty Lou Tabor of White Plains, MD died on November 15, 2013 at her residence with Hospice. She was 86 years old.

Mrs. Tabor was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She loved painting china and porcelain dolls. She was a former teacher at the Prince George's County Community College. She loved cooking and being with her family.

She is the daughter of the late Jesse P. Dove and the late Olive B. Duley Dove. Wife of the late Charles A. Tabor, Sr. She is also predeceased by her brother, John D. Dove; two sisters, Doris Barrs and Beverly Dove; one grandson, Michael Tabor, Jr.

She is survived by two sons, Charles A. Tabor, Jr. and wife Sherry and Michael D. Tabor and wife Sharon; one daughter, Beverly J. Shriver; and one sister, Sandra Moore. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

Friends received on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 10:30AM until time of Funeral Service at 12:30PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Officiated by Chaplain Kimberly Dungey. Interment to follow at MD Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD at 2PM.
