Beverly Ann Blanton, 69, of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away November 15, 2013 at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC, surrounded by her family and special friend, Tammy Burch. Born January 8, 1944 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Hoyt Lee McKenzie and Mildred Stallings Batchelor McKenzie.

Beverly was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She always loved her horses, life on the farm, gardening, her flowers, and spending time with her family.

Predeceased by her parents, she is survived by her husband, Nelson Blanton, Sr.; children, Donna Caywood (Bernie), Nelson Blanton, Jr. (Vanessa), Sherri Long (Joey) and William "Billy" Blanton (Tamara); sister, Winifred Haydon (Howard); grandchildren, Amy, Ryan (Brianna) and Brandon Caywood and Emily and Abbey Long; great-grandchildren, Caydence Hare and Makenzie Caywood.

The family will receive friend for a Memorial Life Celebration on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A service will be held at 7:00 pm.
