C. Lynne Chick, 53 of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away on November 4, 2013 at her home with family by her side. Lynne was born on March 28, 1960 in Washington, DC to Vera Green Henrichs and the late Charles Frederick Henrichs.

Lynne passionately taught at Victory Baptist Academy for 17 years where her daughters went to school. She then worked for Social Services and the Maryland State DLLR in workforce development. She enjoyed spending time with her family, researching family genealogy, and volunteered as an election judge in St. Mary's County. She graduated from Frostburg State University with a Bachelor's of Science in 1981.


Lynne is survived by her husband of 32 years, Joseph Edward Chick, her mother, Vera Green Henrichs, daughters, Kathryn E. Chick, Melanie L. Chick, brothers, Stephen Henrichs (Diana), Jonathan Henrichs (Marsha), and best friend Mary Whalon.

She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends will be received for Lynne's Life Celebration on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Remembrance Service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
