Frances Holmes Judd of Waldorf, MD died on October 13, 2013 at University of MD Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. She was 88 years old.

Mrs. Judd worked as a sales clerk in retail stores for many years and was of the Protestant faith. She enjoyed being with her family and baking cookies for her grandchildren.

She is the daughter of the late Parker Bowie and the late Agnes Chroniger Bowie. She is also predeceased by her husband, John Edgar Judd.

She is survived by one son, John R. Judd; three daughters, Jessie M. Davis, Jennifer K. Patton, and Jacquelyn S. Rudolph; two brothers, Edwin and Ernest Bowie; and three sisters, Mary Sunday, Agnes Cutshaw, and Ruth Evans. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends received on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 9AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment at a later date.
