Annie Cecelia Baker McElhaney (Age 75) of Waldorf, Maryland.

Annie McElhaney, more affectionately known as "Pudding" or "Aunt," was born June 30, 1938 in Chaptico, Maryland to the late Rosie and Clarence Baker. She quietly and peacefully entered into eternal rest at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, previously named CIVISTA Medical Center, Thursday, September 26, 2013.

Annie was educated in the Charles County Public School System. Annie loved caring for others, therefore, after graduating from Pomonkey High School she chose to work in the Health Care Profession and became a Health Care Nurse. Later, she became employed by the Elizabeth Arden Salon and worked there for 20 years. Upon completing her tenure with that company she became a Law Enforcement Officer for Federal Contracts, from which she retired in 2010.

Annie was a strong woman with great character who devoted herself to raising her five children. She was a wonderful mother and friend to her family. Annie loved to cook and dress. She was a straight forward person with a beautiful smile.

In addition to her daughter, Pamela Victoria Weaver, she was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister.

Annie leaves to cherish fondest memories, daughters, Vernessa Baker and Renea Allen, daughter-in-law, Beverly McElhaney, sons, Michael Baker and Christopher McElhaney, son-in-law, Everett Allen, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, sisters, Shirley, Martha, Cinderella and Rania, brothers, Aubrey, Zackary, Thomas and Hillary, brothers-in-law, Reggie and James, sister-in-law, Joyce, a long-time companion, Jessie Sims and a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
