Philip Levine Thompson of Waldorf, MD died on September 20, 2013 at Joseph Richey Hospice House in Baltimore, MD. He was 72 years old.

Phil delivered newspapers for the Washington Post. He liked Pink Panther cartoons and westerns.

He is the son of the late Alton Thompson and the late Margaret Shiflett Thompson. He was also predeceased by his wife, Sheila Thompson; three brothers, Robert E. Thompson, James A. Thompson, and Elbert V. Thompson, Sr.; and two sisters, Marianna Eury and Mary McKinney.

He is survived by two daughters, Julie Thompson and Toni Thompson and her husband Richard Barlow; one brother, John F. Thompson and his wife Janet; and two sisters, Selma Swindell and Anna K. Dennison.

Friends received on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 1PM until time of Funeral Service at 3PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will be private.
