Shirley Mae Alban of Waldorf, MD died on September 9, 2013 at Southern MD Hospital Center in Clinton, MD. She was 76 years old.

Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, taking care of her dogs, gardening in her yard, and cooking.

She is the daughter of the late George F. Hoffman and the late Emma Virginia Smith Hoffman. She is also predeceased by her late husband, Willard Lee Alban.

She is survived by one son, Willard Lee Alban, Jr.; four daughters, Beverly Ritter and her husband Harry, Sharon Chance and her husband Steve, Jean Gale, and Crystal Rickett and her husband Brian; her beloved companion, Fred Hill; one brother, Richard Hoffman; and two sisters, Dorothy Allen and Elizabeth Adams. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Friends received on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 5-8PM with Prayers at 7PM at New Life Wesleyan Church, 9690 Shepherd's Creek Place, La Plata, MD 20646 and where Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10AM. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
