Paul Robert Yee died January 9, 2008 at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. He is survived by his children; son Michael Roberts, daughters Kendra Hasselbrink, Kimberly Yee, and Adrienne Yee, granddaughters Jasmine Louise Yee Hasselbrink and Ashley Yee-Smith, sons-in-law Roger Hasselbrink and Dennis Smith, and former wife Mary Roberts.

He was a wonderful father who went above and beyond, working painting and construction seven days a week to provide for his family. He always made sure they were cared for and provided for, and continues to do so. He instilled in his children the principles to do the same, creating a legacy that will be passed on for generations to come. One of the many reasons he will live in our hearts forever.

He loved to entertain, and be entertained. His love of cooking, music, movies, books, video games, family gatherings, and card games impressed upon us a desire to live our lives enjoying all of the great gifts we are blessed with each day, and to appreciate the people in our lives that we care about. His friends and family will miss him so much.

His Celebration of Life ceremony will be on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home at 12:00 pm.
