George "Ronnie" Millar, 72, of Indian Head, MD died on July 31, 2013 in La Plata, MD.

He was born on August 25, 1940 in La Plata, MD to the late Thomas W. Millar and Rosalie Jameson. He is also predeceased by his daughter Melissa Millar Cusick, and his brother Thomas Glenn Millar.

He is survived by his daughter Marla Wustner and her husband Joe, sisters Jean Gangawer and her husband Bob, Joan Dill and her husband Jerry, grandchildren Michael Kranke and his wife Jenna, Josh Wustner and his wife Sarah, Zach Wustner and his wife Tara, great granddaughters Lily and Isabel Kranke, Hannah Wustner and Ava Wustner sister-in-law Sherrie Millar and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronnie was in the U.S. Army, Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for the Charles County Government Buildings and retired as a Self-employed Heavy Equipment Operator. He loved fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his family. He was also a past member of the Ironsides Volunteer Rescue Squad.

The family will receive friends at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, 211 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646 on Tuesday, August 6th from 4 PM to 8 PM with prayers at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 7th at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at the Old Durham Church Cemetery in Nanjemoy, MD.
