Matthew Daniel Douglas "Matt", 17, of Waldorf, MD and a recent graduate of North Point High School, died on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Matt is survived by his beautiful twin brother Michael David Douglas, parents Sharon Smith-Douglas and Herman George Douglas, and grandparents. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, skating buddies and numerous friends.

Matt was an avid skate boarder, talented artist, a budding chef, a true friend, and fierce defender of his older twin, Michael. He was fearless and embraced life with a passion that could only burn within one so young.

Viewing will take place between 12:00-2:00 pm on Friday, August 2, 2013 at New Life Church, 9690 Shepherd's Creek Place, La Plata, MD 20646 followed by funeral service from 2:00-4:00 pm.
