Sherrie Lee Myers, 65, of Eufaula, AL and formerly of Dunkirk, MD passed away on July 14, 2013, at her residence in Alabama.

She was born on June 28, 1948 in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Fred Griffin and the late Georgie Griffin.

Sherrie was a devoted mother to her two sons and was blessed with life-long friends. She was the primary caregiver to her father for many years until his death earlier this year. She enjoyed macramé, flowers and plants, gardening, and going to yard sales. She also liked visiting Myrtle Beach, SC and Panama City, FL. Sherrie's greatest virtue was patience. She was a beautiful soul and everybody loved her.

Sherrie was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Robert (Bobby) Myers, Sr. who passed on August 5, 2012.

Sherrie is survived by her two sons, Robert Harmon Myers, Jr. of Anne Arundel County, MD, and Clint Jason Myers of Prince Frederick, MD; and her two brothers, Eddie Griffin of Eufaula, AL, and Frederick Griffin, Jr. of North Carolina.
