Susan Delia Collins of Waldorf, MD died on July 8, 2013 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD. She was 86 years old.

Susan was a fire tower observer in Welcome, MD for 12 years, working for the Department of Natural Resources of Maryland and was a member of the Rock Church of La Plata. She loved animals, outdoors, fishing and collecting nick-knacks, flowers, and Christmas was her favorite holiday. She most enjoyed being with her grandkids.

Daughter of the late Sprague O. Finley and the late Delia Costa Finley. Also predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Louis Finley; and three sisters, Margaret Rodgers, Lilly Hodges and Jeanette Finley; and one grandson, Christopher J. Wright.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Felton Collins; four sons, Grover Wright, Jack Wright, Joseph Finley, and Ronnie Wright; one daughter, Kathy Robertson; two brothers, Kenneth and James Finley. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends received on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8PM with Funeral Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:30AM at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
