Nellie Camille Dare, 94, of Solomons, died July 8, 2013. She was born to the late Lee and Bessie Roe, June 14, 1919, in Birmingham, AL.

She was the beloved wife of 73 years to the late Raymond W. Dare, Sr. Nellie is survived by her son, Raymond W. Dare, Jr., 2 granddaughters and 5 great-grandchildren.

Nellie worked at the Navel Oceanographic Office in Suitland, MD. After she retired from there, she served as care giver to many family members. She also volunteered at numerous hospitals and schools.

Friends will be received, on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, P.A., 8200 Jennifer Lane; where services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
