Cindy Olsen was born on March 21, 1955 and died July 1, 2013 at St Mary's Hospital. She was the daughter of William J. Winkleman, III (deceased) and Mary Winkleman Liverman. She was preceded in death by her sister, Karen and brother, Willie.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, David; loving son, Jeremy; dear girlfriend of son, Connie; brother, Michael and his wife, Lori as well as all of our loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.

She was an avid quilter, sewer and reader who loved to do all three as often as she could. She met regularly with four of her closest friends at a quilting bee, as well as other friends at a monthly meeting of Casual Quilters. She was the current president of the Maryland chapter of American Sewing Guild and was a past president of Quilters Guild of Southern Maryland. She was a member of the Red Hat Society as well.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband on vacation such as trips to England, Scotland, a cross country driving trip to South Dakota, as well as numerous other trips.

She is a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Mechanicsville, MD, was a CCD teacher for many years, as well as a member of the 11:00 am choir for many years.

Friends received on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 5-8PM with Wake Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 11AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 28297 Old Village Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
