Pearl May Guiliano, 88, of Mechanicsville, MD, formerly of Upper Marlboro, MD and Washington, DC, passed away on June 21, 2013 at Genesis Elder Care in La Plata, MD.
She was born on January 11, 1925 in Wakefield, MA, daughter of the late Alfred K. Hobbs and the late Mary (Dulong) Hobbs. Pearl was a research clerk for Bolling AFB. She liked the water, enjoyed going to thrift stores, and loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Pearl was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles Cataldo Guiliano, who passed away in October 2004; two of her children, Frank Gore and Joyce Phillips; brothers, Anthony Hobbs, Ralph Hobbs, and Harold Hobbs; and one of her sisters, Prisilla Bradshaw. Pearl is survived by three of her children, Charles Joseph Guiliano (Mary Guiliano), Thomas Gore (Shirley Gore), and Nina Theresa (Guiliano) McClanahan; one of her sisters, Barbara Lonigan; 15 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received for Pearl's Life Celebration on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. There will be a Funeral Service on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow to Maryland Veteran Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD 20623.
