On Sunday, June 16th, 2013 (his 63rd birthday) in Mechanicsville, MD, beloved husband of Jenifer Tabinas Dale of 2 ½ years, devoted son of Joan Dale and cousin to Tonie Truitt passed away at his residence after a very short battle of lung cancer. Dale was preceded in death by his father, William H Dale, Sr. and his brother, Timothy W. Dale.

Dale served in the Army in '68 to '71 as a field radio mechanic and sharpshooter. He was stationed in Korea. He loved guns, motorcycles and anything pertaining to "The Old West". His wish was to retire with his wife in her home country of the Philippine's. Dale asked to include the following in his own words:

I held a special bond with my wife, Jenny. I wished I had a hundred more years with you. To my mother, I never told you enough how much I loved you. To my father, you did the best that you could. To my brother, I hope you are resting in peace. To Tonie, my favorite, my sister - I don't know why but you always were. To Debbie, my oldest friend. To my cousins and relatives that helped me when I needed them most, I thank you. To McKay's, I always enjoyed working there and appreciated every opportunity you gave me.

The family has requested that any expression of donations be made in his name to Hospice of St Mary's County, P.O. BOX 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650.

All arrangements are being handled by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Committal Service will be held at Maryland Veteran Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD, at a later date.
