Powell Thomas Viverette, of Charlotte Hall, MD died December 30, 2007 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

Born March 7, 1929 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Roy Samuel and Beulah Dorothy Spinks Viverette.

Mr. Viverette served in the United States Navy from 1950 to 1954. He was a Barber in Suitland, MD for 40 years retiring in 1996; he enjoyed fishing, going to boxing matches, football games, Bethany Beach and family reunions in North Carolina.

Mr. Viverette is survived by his wife Clara Viverette, children; Michael D. Viverette of Charlotte Hall, MD, J. Paul Viverette of Toccoa, GA and Ruthann Scott of Capon Bridge, WV, siblings; Ted Viverette of Selbyville, DE and Lucy Marie Hicks of Odenton, MD, grandchildren; Teresa M. and Deanna R. Pizarro, Rebecca J. and Asa G. Viverette, and great grandchild; Bradley T. Pizarro.

Family will receive friends for a Life Celebration on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 from 6 to 8pm in the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, where a service will be conducted by Father Peter Alliata on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Queen of Peace Cemetery, Helen, MD.
